What Makes Us Different?

Biomimetic, Structural Adhesive Dental Restorations

Biomimetic dentistry lasts longer and preserves more tooth structure than traditional dentistry. The result is longer lasting, healthier restorations with fewer crowns and root canals

State of the Art Preventive treatment and advice

Periodontal (Gum) care and cavity prevention are the cornerstones to excellent, life-long dental care. We use the most effective methods available to manage each patient’s Oral Biofilm (plaque and tartar).

Thoughtful, Personalized Care

Taking the time to understand each patient’s needs and concerns is just as important as having high skill.  We realize that our patients don’t care how much we know, until they know how much we care.

An Independent Dental Practice

Our office is independent of all insurance plans.  If your insurance allows you to choose your dentist, you can enjoy the benefits of our care.  Why would you come to us?  By being independent, we are able to offer certain procedures or treatments that dentists who are controlled by insurance do not have the time and training to offer.  We are here to help you to benefit with longer lasting restorations, fewer crowns, fewer root canals and more effective prevention - to give you better care than would be possible if we were part of an insurance reimbursement plan.

For example, when a middle to large old filling needs replacement, we carefully remove the old material and any disease. We do this under rubber-dam isolation to prevent you from swallowing the old, sometimes toxic material and to allow us to place the replacement materials in an ideal environment for long-term success. We then inspect for internal cracks - which may be responsible for more lost teeth than cavities. We remove internal cracks, if possible using air abrasion, which is least likely to make cracks worse. Then we rebuild the tooth from the outside in, with best-in-the-world bonding, composite resin and high-tech dynemma based fiber reinforcement. By managing cracks and reinforcing teeth from within, we avoid most crowns (which involve cutting away sound peripheral tooth structure). This takes time and costs our patients less than crowns and “build-ups”. This treatment would not be possible if we were controlled by insurance.
